The VBATechnicals 1.0 MS Access database provides a comprehensive library of technical indicators and overlays developed in VBA. This database will allow you to choose which indicator to evaluate for almost all symbols on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX. The application will download data from a free source on the internet, import it into a table in the database, evaluate the indicator based on the parameters selected, and write the calculated fields to the data table. If selected, the program will automatically create an output text file that can be used as input to a charting program or other application. Also, since all of the source code is available, it can be used to develop new trading systems and applications or modified in the existing database. Available indicators and overlays: Accumulation Distribution Line, Parabolic SAR, Aroon Up, Aroon Down, Aroon Oscillator, Percentage Price Oscillator (PPO), Average Directional Index (ADX), Percentage Volume Oscillator (PVO), Average True Range (ATR), Price Channel, Bollinger Bands, Rate of Change (Price), Rate of Change (Volume), Chaikin Money Flow, Chaikin Oscillator, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic RSI, Commodity Channel Index (CCI), Simple Moving Average (SMA), Exponential Moving Average Envelopes, Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (Price), Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (Volume), Triple Exponential Moving Average Crossover, Force Index, Fast Stochastic Oscillator, Slow Stochastic Oscillator, Full Stochastic Oscillator, Keltner Channels, TRIX, Money Flow Index (MFI), Ultimate Oscillator, Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD), Williams %R, On Balance Volume (OBV).
