You can save the recording directly to MP3, Windows Media Audio (WMA), OGG, or WAV files. The program lets you schedule your recording with a built-in recording timer. Futhermore, it has a smart silence detector for detecting and skipping silent snippets.
Audio Converter quickly and easily converts audio files and CD-audio tracks directly to WMA, MP3, AIFF, Ogg, and WAV formats. When converting an audio CD, Audio Converter automatically receives information such as Title, Artist and Album using the CDDB.

QuickTranslator 2007 is handy little program you can use to perform translations. Support is offered for English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Korean and Arabic. Select the languages you're working with, and paste or type the text. One mouse click later, the text is translated. The actual translation engine is online, so you'll need an active connection, but you won't have long to wait -- even lengthy paragraphs are returned in seconds. This fine program performs admirably and can be a great asset when dealing with foreign text, email, or even chat.
